Honda City Facelift Spotted Again

When the new Honda City Facelift was spotted in a video, its appearance looked significantly more premium and fresh compared to its predecessor. This time around, the car features several new design updates; the front now sports a new grille with a piano black finish. Flanking it on both sides are sharp LED headlights, which also feature integrated LED turn indicators.

Side Profile And a big Infotainment Screen

Side profile of the new Honda City Facelift appears more premium and attractive compared to its predecessor. The car now features black pillars and a clean body design, giving it a distinctly modern look. The turn indicators are integrated directly into the side mirrors, and the vehicle may also feature a 360-degree camera system. The car is equipped with standard door handles, rather than flush-fitting ones. Additionally, the placement of the fuel tank has been executed in a very neat and clean manner.

The new Honda City Facelift sports newly designed alloy wheels, which further enhance its sporty aesthetic. Inside the cabin, a larger touchscreen infotainment system is now featured, which is expected to offer support for smart connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Honda City Facelift Engines and Price

The Honda City Facelift is expected to continue with the same engine options as the current model. It may feature a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces around 121 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. This engine is likely to be offered with both a 5-speed manual and a CVT gearbox, delivering a smooth and refined driving experience.

Apart from this, Honda is also expected to continue the strong hybrid version in the facelift model. The hybrid setup delivers a combined power output of around 126 horsepower and is known for offering better fuel efficiency along with a more premium driving experience. The hybrid variant is also expected to come paired with an e-CVT transmission.

In terms of pricing, the new Honda City Facelift is likely to be slightly more expensive than the current model. For reference, the existing City petrol variants are priced between ₹11.99 lakh and ₹16.07 lakh (ex-showroom), while the hybrid variant is priced around ₹19.99 lakh. With updated styling and new features, a slight price increase is expected in the facelift version.
