Renault and Honda’s upcoming new sub-compact SUVs are soon going to be seen in the Indian market. Both companies are preparing to launch their new sub-compact SUVs within the next two years. Along with this, these SUVs are expected to come with good engine options and are also likely to look quite impressive in terms of design.
Upcoming Renault Bridger Car
Renault has confirmed the launch of its upcoming bridger new sub-4 meter SUV for the Indian market. The carmaker has also released several images of the SUV, which have almost completely revealed its design. The design of this vehicle has been made quite attractive.
This SUV will be introduced in the market to compete in the sub-4 meter SUV segment. Along with this, it is expected to get several advanced features and a powerful engine option. According to automotive reports, the launch of this SUV could take place around 10 March 2026.
According to reports, the upcoming new Renault sub-compact SUV could get a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine, which is also expected to be prepared for hybrid technology. It is believed that the SUV may come with a 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine. In terms of performance, it is expected to produce around 114 bhp of power and 190 Nm of torque.

Upcoming Honda New Compact SUV
Honda has officially announced a new sub-4 meter SUV for the Indian market during its business meeting held on 14 May 2026. The company has confirmed that this new compact SUV is expected to launch in the early months of 2028. It is believed that the SUV will be based on the all-new PF2 platform, which is currently under development and is expected to be a highly flexible architecture. This platform will also support hybrid and electric powertrains.
At the moment, the company has not clearly confirmed whether the SUV will come only with an ICE engine or also with a hybrid powertrain. However, reports suggest that an EV variant could also be introduced in the Indian market.
