TVS Motor Company has unveiled its new TVS RTR 125 LC motorcycle at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy. Designed for European markets, this new 125cc motorcycle comes with a liquid-cooled engine, sporty streetfighter styling and performance-focused hardware. TVS is targeting A1 licence holders with this new model, which brings several premium features to a small-capacity motorcycle.

One of its biggest highlights is a 125cc four-valve engine producing 14.9 PS, paired with a six-speed gearbox. It also gets KYB USD front forks, dual-channel ABS, a five-inch TFT display and smartphone connectivity. Alongside RTR 125 LC, TVS also showcased Orbiter, X and M1S electric scooters at EICMA 2026. Here is everything worth knowing about its design, engine, features and India launch possibilities.

TVS RTR 125 LC Gets a New Liquid-Cooled Engine

TVS has introduced a new 125cc, four-valve, liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine for its RTR 125 LC. According to official figures, this engine produces 11kW (14.9 PS) at 9,000rpm and 12Nm of maximum torque at 7,000rpm.

Power is sent to the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox. TVS has also equipped this motorcycle with a multiplate full assist and slipper clutch. This setup should help deliver smoother gear changes and better control during downshifts.

Streetfighter Design and LED Lighting

In terms of styling, RTR 125 LC gets an aggressive streetfighter appearance. A sculpted fuel tank, sharp body panels and exposed trellis frame give it a sporty look.

At the front, TVS has fitted a rectangular LED projector headlamp with a distinctive DRL. Its rear section features a tri-split LED tail lamp, giving the motorcycle a distinctive appearance.

TFT Display and Connectivity Features

Technology is another important part of RTR 125 LC. It comes with a five-inch TFT instrument display supporting Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone integration.

Riders also get full-screen map mirroring and turn-by-turn navigation. Multiple riding modes are included, allowing riders to adapt motorcycle settings according to different riding conditions.

Chassis, Suspension and Braking Setup

TVS has developed a Synchro Stiff chassis for its new motorcycle, combining a tubular trellis frame with a cast swingarm. Suspension duties are handled by a 41mm KYB upside-down front fork and an adjustable rear monoshock. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, with a 100/80-17 front tyre and a 140/70-R17 rear tyre.

For braking, TVS has provided a 300mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc. Both brakes use ByBre callipers, while dual-channel ABS comes as part of the package.

TVS RTR 125 LC Price and Availability

TVS Motor Company has not announced the official price of RTR 125 LC yet. Its market availability and launch timeline are also yet to be confirmed. For now, the motorcycle has been unveiled for European markets at EICMA 2026. More details about pricing and availability are expected closer to its market launch.

Will TVS RTR 125 LC Launch in India?

An Indian launch could attract attention from buyers interested in a premium 125cc motorcycle. However, TVS has not announced any plans to introduce RTR 125 LC in India.

TVS already sells Raider 125 in the domestic market, while RTR 125 LC comes with more expensive hardware, including liquid cooling, USD forks and a TFT display.

BikeAdvice has also discussed the possibility of an Indian launch, suggesting that the motorcycle may not arrive here because of Raider 125’s existing position. However, this is its editorial assessment, not an official statement from TVS.
