However, the company recently announced the discontinuation of two of its variants: the mid-level SX Tech and SX (O). These variants have been phased out as part of the updates to the 2026 Creta lineup.

It proved to be immensely popular and highly favored among consumers, largely because it offered the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) at such an affordable and accessible price point.
Since other variants in the lineup did not feature this technology, customers were gravitating heavily toward this specific model.

Consequently, the range of options available to consumers has effectively narrowed. They will now face a choice between paying a higher price for a premium model or settling for a variant with fewer features at a lower price point.
Specifically, customers desiring the coveted Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System—a feature now exclusive to the top-tier models—will have to contend with the burden of spending up to ₹1.48 lakh extra.

The company is taking these steps to streamline its offerings. Regarding the SX(O) trim at the time of the second-generation Creta’s launch in 2026 it stood out as one of the finest and most popular “top-of-the-line” variants.
However, it is worth noting that the introduction of the “King Trim” the following year effectively supplanted it, thereby diminishing its perceived value.
Nevertheless, despite the discontinuation of this specific trim, Hyundai has not added any new features to the rest of the lineup; you will continue to find the same robust and premium features as before.

Notably, the Creta lineup offers three distinct engine options, ensuring excellent powertrain versatility. Furthermore, a 6-speed manual gearbox comes as standard with both the petrol and diesel engines.
