Notably, the SUV is reported to measure 4,815 mm in length and 1,695 mm in height. Furthermore, the company plans to offer the vehicle in 5-seater, 6-seater, and 7-seater variants, which may result in slight variations in pricing across the range.

It is anticipated that the 7-seater variant will be offered as the standard configuration, while the 6-seater variant may be introduced as an optional extra. On the international front, the Kia Sorento Hybrid features an excellent powertrain combination comprising a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine paired with an electric motor.

Engine Performance

Upcoming Two New Premium hybrid car: It is worth noting that Kia has not yet commenced domestic production of this specific engine; however, if the company were to do so, this advanced powertrain setup could prove to be quite expensive for the Indian market, potentially creating affordability challenges for many prospective buyers.

According to various reports, the company is reportedly considering replacing this engine with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine Kia is formulating various plans regarding engine options, and reports suggest that the Kia Sorento Hybrid is likely to feature an abundance of premium amenities.

As it is poised to be a premium, high-tech vehicle, there is a strong expectation that its market demand will surge significantly.

Kia Carnival

While there is speculation that it might be imported as a CBU (Completely Built Unit), it is confirmed that this upcoming hybrid MPV will be equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine.

This engine is expected to be assisted by an electric motor; notably, both power units are situated on the front axle.

Finally, while the hybrid MPV is available in South Korea in both 7-seater and 9-seater configurations, current expectations suggest that only the 7-seater variant will be made available in India.
